The artistic approach
I started to paint, not by choice, but because painting was obvious to me. It was a deliverance, my Resilience.
Painting is a reconnection to my inner self, it is a sign of evolution and lucidity. I realign my material life to its deep and spiritual aspirations. It is my life path whose final destination is inner peace.
Although passionate about travel, the one I prefer is to explore the meanders of my soul in order to offer you all its colorful riches.
Thus, through my abstract and colorful paintings, I have the power to invent, to imagine my perfect world, inspired by nature.
A world with its colors, its shapes, its own light where I express what I have deepest in me, without intellectualizing or conceptualizing. It is a part of me that I am revealing to you, because I do not paint what I see or what I think, but rather what I feel and want to make the viewer feel.
The abstract was a revelation, my revolution. What I visualize inside of me harmonizes with each brushstroke. The more I paint, the more I take root and let go.
I chose to paint in acrylic, because it allows me to associate it with several mediums (structural mortar, acrylic or alcohol inks, spray paint) and thus, I give body, I give life to my works. .
According to the alliances, very colorful works are born delivering real energy. I can then play with modeling the material and let the colors merge together in order to reveal the light.
Like the lava of the volcano, the colors spring from my being and become the main channel of my feelings. The drips sometimes present allow me to give an alternating movement: they rise or fall, symbolizing the breath of life.
The abstract allows me to be spontaneous, that's why I don't work to order. With each work, I am like the Moon, I am a new version of myself. Every time I open a tube of paint, it's like opening the floodgates of my subconscious and all the feelings buried during those years are coming out so that I can finally wake up.
I usually paint on medium to large canvas or tiles. I tried small formats, but I suffocate, I restrict my freedom of movement. For my next work, I will want to paint on very large formats to gain even more access to this impression of space and freedom.
My painting is intimate with a meditative approach. It opens the way for you to reach your soul by getting rid of your brakes, your blockages and your inner wounds. It invites you on an initiatory journey through a universe irradiating with light by its flamboyant colors where the child that you were mingle with the infinite power of your imagination.
I invite you to enter a colorful world where pleasure, abundance and letting go are sacred, and where reason and logic have given way to your great sensitivity.
Not only, I tell you, through my works, a life strewn with joys, sorrows, beautiful encounters and questioning, but I leave it to each of you to listen to his own soul. I want you to appropriate them to dream, escape, imagine, explore; that you let yourself be carried away by your emotions.
And as the spices are in the kitchen, I would like my art to spice up the atmosphere of your home, give your interior extra soul and settle into everyone's life by revealing its poetry.
