Born in Montpellier in 1977, Aurore Capone has always been very sensitive to art and manual work. After studying literature and tourism which allowed her to travel the world, she now lives in the heart of the Montpellier scrubland where she devotes herself entirely to her creations. She recognizes herself in Salvador Dali and Niki de Saint-Phalle for their madness and their skin-deep sensitivity, Jackson Pollock for his mastery of “dripping”, Jonone and the power of his bright colors in Street Art, Joan Miró for his surrealism. or Frida Kahlo for her tenacity and courage.

The birth of “Aurore l'Artiste”

Passionate self-taught, she also follows, from 2012 to 2018, sculpture and painting courses delivered by Atelier Laurent Blandin. From 2013 to 2017, she exhibited at the restaurant "La petite cuisine". In 2015, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, she donated one of these paintings (Guingoi). From then on, she realizes that painting is essential to her. Several group exhibitions follow: “L'Allée des Artistes” in Jacou in 2018, the “Creators' Market” at Matelles in 2020, the “Art Fair” in Montpellier with the “toiles solidaires” collective in 2020. The exhibition individual "The Doors of my soul" in 2019 in Jacou is a revelation and marks the beginning of a great adventure.

The path of life

For Aurore, painting is a connection to her “inner self”. She paints with her heart, in a very intuitive way, she bares herself with each new canvas. Through the energy of the brushstrokes, we can perceive a great sensitivity and humanity. Her art allows her to tell you about a life strewn with joys, sorrows, beautiful encounters and questioning.Not only does she tell you about her journey since childhood, but also, she leaves the care to each of them. us to listen to his soul, and thus to find in his paintings a piece of his history.
